MSNR workshop 2019

Hands-On Workshop on Neuronal Recordings and Stimulation

The workshop will be held from Tuesday 22nd of May to Friday 25th of May 2018.

Workshop goals and background

Neuronal recordings from living animals are probably one of the most informative methods in all of the neurosciences and provide the basis for a wealth of other techniques. Its first steps can be taken with little effort and will provide a young researcher with the invaluable experience of having recorded “my first neuron” in vivo.

Within our four-day hands-on workshop we will have access to a plethora of different commercial recording setups and will acquire neuronal responses within several acute in-vivo/in-vitro paradigms. It is the goal of this workshop to go beyond single microelectrode recordings and test the most recent developments in multisite microprobes as well.
